Day 1, Cochin. Sightseeing in Fort Cochin.

Arrive with your loving family at Cochin International Airport and transfer to the Resort in the city. Go for a sightseeing in the old part of Cochin in the afternoon. Cochin, the commercial capital of Kerala, is enormously rich in heritage. It became the first European township in India when the Portuguese settled here in the 15th century. The tour Includes visit to Dutch Palace built in 1557 and renowned for its murals, St. Francis Church built in 1503 by the Portuguese, Jewish Synagogue, the oldest Synagogue in the Commonwealth and the huge Chinese Fishing nets erected between 1350 and 1450 AD. Night in Cochin.

Day 2, Cochin. Museums and the temple tour.

temple tour. In the morning, visit the Museum of Kerala History that retells the entire history of Kerala like never before with the help of sculptures and narration. It also houses an art gallery of paintings. Get back to the hotel for lunch before you proceed to the famed Hill Palace Museum set inside the erstwhile residence of the royal family of Cochin displaying hundreds of interesting exhibits including paintings, carvings and other royal antiques. Evening, visit the renowned Chottanikkara Bhagavathi Temple. Back to the hotel by 7pm. Night in Cochin.

Day 3, Cochin. Village tour and cultural evening

Spend this morning at a village of story-book beauty and full of life. Stroll on the countryside as you watch the ethnic activities of the villagers. Watch crab farming, netting of coconut leaves, making of copra (dry coconut) and various methods of fishing. End the tour with a sumptuous lunch or dinner savoring delicious Kerala dishes and seafood delicacies. Get back to the hotel as you relax till 6pm. Evening, we take you to a theatre in the city for a splendid cultural show. The highlight of this 90 minutes show is a medley of various dances including Kathakali, Mohiniyattam, Theyyam and Bharathanatyam. It also includes a brief demonstration of Kerala's spectacular Martial Art called Kalaripayattu. The theater complex houses a museum and a miniature version of a 1930s Kerala Village and an Art Gallery restaurant. Back to the hotel by 8pm. Night in Cochin.

Day 4, Alappuzha. Houseboat cruise

Checkout from the Resort at 11am and travel to Alappuzha (1 hour drive) to check in at the Houseboat by 12 noon. . Cruise to explore the backwaters and its serene beauty. Enjoy the ride; with a welcome drink on arrival. You can also experience the traditional Kerala food including lunch and dinner on board. Night on Houseboat.

Day 5, Alappuzha, Kovalam.

After breakfast onboard and a brief cruise checkout from the houseboat to complete a cruise that made anchors in your soul. Start for Kovalam, the renowned beach destination, which is a favorite holiday destination of the family travelers. Check in at the Resort that is right on the beach. Spend rest of the day at the Resort or by the beach. Watch sunset. Night in Kovalam.

Day 6, Kovalam. Kanyakumari day tour

Kanyakumari day tour Spend this day at Kanyakumari (100 kms and 2 ½ hours from Kovalam), the southern tip of Indian peninsula where three oceans confluence. Visit Padmanabhapuram Palace enroute. Visit Vivekananda Memorial Rock and watch sunset at Kanyakumari before you travel back to Kovalam. Overnight in Kovalam.

Day 7, Kovalam. Sightseeing in Trivandrum

A refreshing day at Kovalam, where the beach is calm, safe and alluring for the family travelers. Stroll freely with your family at this clean and lively beach. Rejuvenate your body at the high-end Ayurvedic Center of the Resort with the pampering therapies of Ayurveda. Night in Kovalam.

Day 8, Departure.

There comes the day of departure. Transfer to Trivandrum Airport as you say goodbye to a journey in pursuit of the glorious past of a fabulous land. Tour ends. Memories linger.
